The burner should be replaced every 200 uses or once a year. Use a neutral fragrance oil to reduce the intensity of the scent. Neutral oil helps clean the burner, wick, and lamp before introducing a new fragrance note.
A 0.5l fragrance oil is sufficient for about 80 hours of scent (oil designed for special fragrance lamps by "Maison Berger Paris").
