The Chinese Chopping Knife by the Japanese brand Mcusta Zanmai is a relatively heavy knife, known as a Chinese cleaver, commonly used in Asia as a versatile chef's knife. It features a thin, rectangular blade and is used for chopping and slicing vegetables, fruits, and boneless meat. Due to its exceptional width, it allows you to quickly scoop up the chopped ingredients and transfer them to a salad bowl or pan. Unlike the heavy Western cleaver, the Chinese chopping knife with its thin blade is not meant for cutting through bones.
The knife has a handle made of black pakka wood.

The stainless VG-10 core encased in 32 layers of stainless steel, hardened to 61 HRC +/-1, guarantees sharpness. Thanks to the cold-forging and laser cutting of the blade, it exhibits incredible durability and ease of sharpening. The handle made of black pakka wood beautifully complements the layered pattern on the blade and ensures a secure grip.
