The 17cm Santoku Satake Unique Shirogami Knife
The oriental Santoku knife is a knife with a special shape, perfect for delicate cutting of meat and fish. Due to its thin blade, it also excels at slicing fruits and chopping herbs.
One of the great advantages of this knife is its wide blade, which allows you to easily transfer the sliced products or herbs directly on the knife, straight into a pan or pot.
The handle is made of pakka wood, a composite of wood and resin. Such handles are known for their high resistance to mechanical damage, high temperatures, and humidity. Pakka, as a laminate made of thin layers of natural wood, adds character to each knife.

Unique Shirogami
The core material used in the production of these knives is a 3-layered Shirogami #2 carbon steel with a hardness of 60 HRC +/- 1. It is the purest of steels, known as "white steel," additionally clad in soft iron, which makes maintenance and sharpening easier, providing a perfectly polished mirror-like cutting edge.
