Mami 26cm Santoku Knife

The Alessi Santoku knife from the Mami collection is a combination of design and functionality by the eminent designer Stefano Giovannoni. Designed by him, the knife is lightweight, versatile, and distinguished by exceptional durability and excellence in everyday use. It excels in chopping and dicing vegetables or fruits and is also suitable for cutting and portioning meat. Both the blade and the handle of the Santoku knife are made of matte stainless steel, which is highly durable and easy to sharpen. The Santoku knife, with a total length of 26cm, features a wide, long blade that smoothly merges with the handle. The Mami collection is characterized by its soft, undulating lines that captivate many. Designer Stefano Giovannoni aimed to blend playful motifs with classicism, harmony, and originality. The series combines raw, perfectly crafted, and straightforward materials devoid of unnecessary embellishments to captivate with their classical form. Steel and glass form the basis of the collection; these exceptional materials don't need additional adornments to be a stunning decoration. Classic items become an integral part of any home, bringing a touch of elegance. Stefano Giovannoni graduated in architecture from the University of Florence. In the early '80s, he co-founded the King-Kong Production group with Guido Venturini. The designer is renowned for his extraordinary skills, and his creative journey began with the Girotondo tray project.
