The You tea infuser designed by Miriam Mirri for the Alessi brand is an excellent example of combining simple design with exceptional functionality.
The tea infuser, made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, has a distinctive heart-shaped horn shape.
Simply fill it with loose tea leaves and then place the infuser in a cup filled with boiling water. Through the holes in the surface of the infuser, the essence will slowly be released, and when the drink reaches the desired saturation, it can be safely removed.
The perfect addition to the infuser is a To cup from the same series, creating the ideal "To You" set.
The product is dishwasher safe.
Miriam Mirri was born in Bologna in 1964 and lives and works in Milan. She graduated from the Higher School of Anotomic Design and studied communication and design at the Università del Progetto in Reggio Emilia. She worked in London with Nigel Coates and for many years was assistant to Stefano Giovannoni. She designs objects for companies such as Mandarina Duck, Mitsubishi, and United Pets. She also teaches design courses at the Università del Progetto in Reggio Emilia.
