The grinding mechanism is designed to crush coarse-grained kitchen salt. It is made of stainless steel, resistant to corrosion. During the grinding process, the seasoning is consistently dispensed, facilitating dosing. Salt is the most classic spice we use in almost every cooked dish, sandwiches, salads, and more. To fill the mill, simply unscrew the securing nut at the top of the mill and remove the lid. The grinding thickness can be adjusted using the knob.
Peugeot mills are designed for grinding coarse, dry sea salt crystals up to 4 mm in size. The manufacturer recommends using only coarse, dry, or rock sea salt and advises against using moist sea salt such as Guerande, Ré, Maldon, pink salt, or salt flakes.
The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty for the mill body and a lifetime warranty for the grinding mechanism.
Please note that the mill is not suitable for grinding pepper.
