Peugeot mills are designed to grind coarse, dry sea salt crystals up to 4 mm. The manufacturer recommends always using coarse, dry salt, whether rock or sea salt. Moist sea salt such as Guerande, Ré, Maldon, pink salt, and fleur de sel should not be used.

The manufacturer offers a 2-year warranty on the mill body and a lifetime warranty on the grinding mechanism.

The mill is not suitable for grinding pepper.
