At the top of the mill, there is a shiny metal knob used to adjust the grind level. The tighter you twist the knob, the finer the peppercorns will be ground, giving you complete control over the intensity of flavor in your dishes.
The mill is made from beech wood sourced from certified French forests, emphasizing its ecological value while ensuring durability and solidity for years to come. The grinding mechanism is designed specifically for salt and is made of stainless steel, resistant to corrosion. During the grinding process, the spice is dispensed evenly, making dosing easier. Salt is a classic seasoning used in almost every cooked dish, sandwich, salad, and more.
Peugeot mills are designed for grinding coarse, dry sea salt crystals up to 4 mm. The manufacturer recommends always using coarse salt—dry, rock, or sea salt. Moist sea salts such as Guerande, Ré, Maldon, pink salt, and fleur de sel should not be used.
The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on the mill body and a lifetime warranty on the grinding mechanism.
The mill is not suitable for grinding pepper.
