Each vase is precisely formed layer by layer by a 3D printer, using ceramic approximately 1 mm thick, a process that takes about two and a half hours. Then, in a kiln reaching 1200 degrees Celsius, the vase gains its durable, layered structure. The final effect is a fascinating contrast between the organic flow of the pleated design and the subtle, layered texture.
With its carefully applied glaze covering the interior of the vase up to half its height, Frappee is waterproof and ready to showcase your favorite flowers. To maintain its beautiful structure, simply clean it regularly with a damp cloth.
