Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo. She lives and works in Milan. Patricia studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Milan. She was an assistant to the lecturer Achille Castiglioni. In 2001, she opened her own studio specializing in product design, interiors, and architecture. She has created products for the most important Italian and international companies. Some of her products are exhibited in the largest art and design museums.
