Classic Japanese Scissors
These classic Japanese scissors are crafted from a single piece of high-carbon steel. They are primarily used for bonsai tree cultivation, trimming houseplants, and cutting herbs. They excel in any task that requires delicate, sharp cutting, making them ideal for sewing and bookbinding work (paper, fabrics, and threads). The springy blades are enabled by a curved fulcrum, allowing for comfortable and precise work. The scissors are very lightweight and fit comfortably in the hand, with finger and thumb pressure providing control.
As an interesting side note, the name "nożyczki" itself refers to working with two fingers: "ni" meaning two, and "giri" meaning finger.
These scissors are of compact size, so it's advisable to ensure they suit your needs before making a purchase.
