The cast iron from which the pot is made has excellent heat retention capability, significantly reducing cooking or baking time and allowing energy-efficient preparation of meals. The flat surface of the lid is equipped with specially designed bumps, called the Aroma Rain system, which helps retain moisture during meal preparation.
